A section of North Rift leaders have urged former Prime Minister (PM) Raila Odinga to keep off Deputy President William Ruto's case.
Speaking on Wednesday at Kwinet, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi said that Odinga is just looking for political mileage.
The leaders assert that the case facing the DP is headed to a crash and the former PM wants to take credit for its downfall.
"Where has he been all that time when this case has been going on? We did everything till he became Prime Minister and he never came here to thank us. We are kindly asking him to keep off our affairs," said Sudi.
Sudi's sentiments was echoed by The National Alliance (TNA) patron James Wainaina who said Odinga could have offered his help earlier if he was genuine.
"This is not the time to say he wants to help us, it should have come earlier. He just wants to come and destroy us," said Wainaina.
Last month, a section of leaders from Rift Valley had urged CORD leader Raila Odinga to travel to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and testify for the Deputy President.
