He said that the icons who were robbed from us represented the future of the nation in line with vision 2030 and the government should not left the heinous act go in vain.

“We must use the memories of these icons that would have been the future of our nation, now robbed from us, to change the way we do things as a nation,” Said Kiragu.

The legislator who was speaking on Friday when he attended the burial ceremony of the late Bilha Karimi at Karii village near Lusighetti, Kiambu County accompanied by other MPs said that, the Garissa massacre left him weak and in deeper pain but Kenya must fight on.

“These last two weeks have been difficult. The Garissa Massacre left me weak. Attending the burials and visiting families of the bereaved left me in deeper pain but we will fight on. I will not let this be just another story, it will not just be another incident, and I will lead from the front on this. People must begin to take responsibility for their acts of omission or commission,” said the MP.

The Somber mood engulfed the family of Mzee Karimi as leader wants the Majority leader Aden Duale to name the list of Al Shabaab Militants financers.

Thika MP Alice Ng’ang’a said that the death should not be in vain and if Duale knows the financers he should be taken to custody for questioning since Kenya is greater than individuals.

Kikuyu MP Ichungwa Kimani further said that the death of the victims has greatly impacted negatively to the economy of the country and Duale should start mentioning the perpetrators or risk a jail term.
