Speaking on Monday during the commissioning of a borehole at Shauri Moyo Police Station in Nairobi, Kibicho said that the second in command is yet to file a formal complainant with the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

He urged leaders and the general public to desist from creating unnecessary tension in the country. Kibicho said that those spreading what he termed as propaganda are only interested in derailing President Uhuru Kenyatta’s agenda.

” I hear assassinations claims… Who has complained? I am yet to hear someone complain. That’s utter nonsense and unfounded claims. We should stop creating things that don’t exist,” said the Interior PS, as quoted by Citizen Digital.

He also said that the Deputy, who is considered as one of the frontrunners in the race for power, has to provide evidence over the allegations before they can be taken seriously.

The allies of the DP’s assassination have been urging the DCI to probe the matter faster.

The allegations have  seen four cabinet secretaries; Sicily Kariuki (Health), Peter Munya (Trade), Joseph Mucheru (ICT) and James Kamau (Transport) put in the spot.

Ruto has not yet appeared before the investigation agencies to record a statement over the matter amid temperatures and cracks in Jubilee.

The CSs have, however, dismissed the claims leveled against them.
