Two brothers were on Monday arraigned before a Nakuru court accused of burglary.
Isack Kiduru and Patrick Kiduru were accused of breaking into a house belonging to Jenipher Njoroge and making away with 40 cockerels.
They were also accused of stealing two 90kg bags of both maize and beans. The court heard that the two allegedly committed the offence on October 3, in Njoro.
However they both pleaded not guilty to the offence before Chief Magistrate Joel Ng'eno and were released on a bond of Sh40,000 awaiting hearing on November 12.
In the same court a man was accused of sodomising a minor.
Austin Ikaro Baraza was charged with the offence which he allegedly committed on September 28, at Cooler Estate in Nakuru.
The court heard that the accused was allegedly caught in the act with the 3-year-old boy.
He however pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released on a Sh70,000 bond awaiting hearing on November 12.
