Speaking at an interview on NTV, Tuesday, he, however, urged Kenyans to be very sensitive with the fact that, some communities want inclusiveness.

The legislature, however, advised DP Ruto to follow the footsteps of Uhuru and Raila where they put their differences aside and thought of how to reach out to Kenyans in different parts of the country.

"I think the DP is entitled and he should run for president in 2022. We must also be sensitive as Kenyans to the fact that some of our communities are saying, we want an inclusive community," said Richard Onyonka.

He admitted that there is no problem DP Ruto succeeding President Uhuru, however, the things that happened in the year 2002, 2007 and 2013 should not happen again.

"We have no problem with DP William Ruto Succeeding Uhuru...What happened in 2002, 2007 and 2013 cannot continue happening," he said.

Besides, Kitutu Chache also thanked President Uhuru for playing real politics for the first time, as in many years leaders have engaged in false politics.

"For so many years in this country, we've played false politics. For the first time, Uhuru is playing real politics," he added.
