CCM party leader and Bomet first governor Isaac Ruto has vowed not to attend the BBI rallies saying it's mered with political intolerance. While speaking at TAACH FM on Monday morning Isaac Ruto said although he's fully behind the report he's not happy with the intolerance between Raila allies and William Ruto's.
"I will not attend those rallies, of the 3 that has happened it's more of political sideshows than the intended course, the timing of this report is not good, if it comes concurrently with the general election it will lose meaning on the way since some will be blanketed by politics," Ruto said.
The devolution champion further said that he is fully behind the BBI report since most of its proposals are what he has been championing for through his Chama Cha Mashinani party.
He said that although he wasn't attending the national rallies he was organizing meetings with local leaders as well as he sensitizes people around the county on the BBI report contents.
"I was in Kapkoros on Saturday , and in Bomet central yesterday sensitizing the people of Bomet on what the report entails and encouraging them to come out and present their ideas as well , I just don't agree with how the rallies are ran ," he said .
