Kisii County governor James Ongwae has urged Kisii leaders and residents to be united for the benefit of the county in terms of development.
Ongwae said leaders and residents should be united if the county wants to stay ahead of other counties.
Speaking on Sunday in Kisii town, Ongwae urged leaders to refrain from petty politics and join hands to realise development.
“Kisii County leaders and residents, let us come together and steer development,” he said.
Ongwae challenged christians and the clergy to always put government officials in prayers to lead with wisdom.
“I want to ask the clergy and christians pray for leaders in the country to have wisdom while executing their mandate,” he added.
