In an interview with K24's Anne Kiguta during the Punchline show, Sonko said though he is yet to decide on the same, its not a far fetched idea.

He noted that he has always been seen as a joker, only to achieve his ambitions, adding that his one-term history might be a bigger shock to those downplaying him.

"When I started politics people thought I was doing PR. I became an MP, a senator and a governor. I am known for being one-term person but I'll decide on that," he said.

Sonko was responding to Kiguta's question on whether he will will contest for the presidency after President Uhuru Kenyatta retires in 2022.

He pointed out that for now, he would like to completely concentrate on development and service delivery to the people of Nairobi County.

"Let me not answer that question now. I want to focus on service delivery," he added.
