Speaking during a panel discussion on NTV on Tuesday, the Kericho legislator faulted the two leaders over what he called their failure to address the civil war in Jubilee.

"William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta are candidates for the disciplinary mechanisms of the party because of what is happening in Jubilee, " the Kericho legislator fired.

"If Jubilee was a serious political party they would have faced the disciplinary committee and explain why we continue to face the kind of challenges we are facing as a party."

Senator Cheruiyot wondered why the president and the deputy president were "allowing members of the party to read from different scripts."

DP Ruto and his allies have reportedly requested President Uhuru to convene a meeting to discuss the crisis in Jubilee, a request that the president, who is also the ruling party's leader, has declined to grant.

The divisions in the party have seen two factions, Kieleweke and Tangatanga factions, lock horns publicly.

President Uhuru steered clear off addressing the divisions publicly only asking politicians to focus on delivering on his Big Four Agenda.
