Veteran Politician Koigi Wa Wamwere has highlighted key issues he wants the Jubilee government to address before the end of the year.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Wamwere said that he would be the happiest person if the government made these issues part of its New Year Resolutions. Some of the issues he highlighted include fighting corrupt individuals and eradication of poverty
"Retire all leaders whose only purpose is to steal, self-perpetuate and enslave unsuspecting masses. Create a better economic system to eradicate all poverty it has bred for people. Depoliticize and eradicate impoverishing corruption at all levels. To have legitimacy, the government must try and jail all suspects of corruption," read part of his post.
He also said that President Uhuru Kenyatta-led government should ask all leaders to declare their wealth through lifestyle audits.
Wamwere advised the government to give the unemployed allowances for survival and resolve all historical injustices the nation has suffered since independence among other issues in the country as soon as possible for the sake of the economic empowerment.
He added: " All leaders must declare and publicize all their personal wealth. No leader, family or friend must do business with the government."
"Ensure government serves all, employs all and protects all. Give survival allowances to all unemployed persons. Give free education to all. Give free medical care to all. The government must resolve all historical injustices and the government must endeavor to reduce not increase taxes."
