Director of Medical Services Jackson Kioko, however, has stated that the government has put in place mechanisms to fight the disease.

He was speaking on Tuesday in Narok during the World Malaria Day Celebrations.

He said the government was committed to fully eliminating the disease.

“The trials are aimed at determining its efficacy and identifying side effects. After all measures are in place, the government will roll it out before mid next year,” he said in a speech he read for CS Cleopha Mailu.
