Writing on Twitter on Sunday, Sifuna held the view that the two legislators timed their entry to ensure that it caused maximum disruption as it could.

He went on to word that the gesture by the Elgeyo Marakwet senator and the Gatundu South Member of Parliament smacked of disrespect to the people of Ukambani.

"The timing of entry is calculated to cause maximum disruption. It's extremely disrespectful especially to the people of Ukambani coz Kuria and Murkomen came to cause chaos just when the regions resolutions were being read. Shame on you @kipmurkomen and @HonMoses_Kuria," the ODM SG's tweet read.

In a video shared on online platforms, Moses Kuria is seen being harassed as he wriggles his way towards the BBI podium where ODM leader Raila Odinga, Governor Charity Ngilu and Kalonzo Musyoka among other leaders are.

At one point, the Kitui county boss orders for the Gatundu South legislator to be removed from the meeting, saying that she cannot allow those who insult President Uhuru Kenyatta into her meeting.
