Now that 2020 is here, Interior and Coordination of National Government Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho has taken time to reflect on the year that has just elapsed.
Writing on Twitter on Wednesday, the PS acknowledged that 2019 had its fair share of challenges but was quick to say that those challenges had been met and gains made.
Kibicho wished Kenyans a prosperous 2020.
"Although last year had its fair share of challenges, we cannot overlook the many gains that we made. As we begin a new decade, I pray that the year 2020 brings you happiness, prosperity and success. Happy New Year!" Karanja Kibicho tweeted.
Speaking of challenges, 2019 was truly a challenging year for Kibicho at a personal level.
He was the punching bag of politicians allied to the Deputy President Dr William Ruto who accused him of using his office to fight political battles.
The PS was also named as one of the high profile individuals from the Mount Kenya region who was working in cahoots with other highly placed individuals behind the scenes to assassinate DP Ruto.
He has long rubbished those allegations levelled against him, saying that he has never harboured intention to assassinate anybody, let alone DP Ruto.
