Former presidential candidate has sensationally explained how former president Mwai Kibaki used and dumped her according to Media Max-owned K24 Television news portal.
Martha Karua made the sensational claims in a bare-knucked interview with renowned journalist Ann Kiguta in the latest episode of Punchline to air on K24.
She claimed that Kibaki deployed her skills to defend his disputed 2007 win only to do away with her after securing the win that plunged the country into chaos.
"On Sunday, speaking exclusively to Anne Kiguta on K24’s Punchline, Ms Karua makes explosive revelations on how former president Mwai Kibaki used her to defend his controversial 2007 election only to isolate her after securing his win, " K24 reported on Sunday.
The former Gichugu MP, who served as Justice Minister in the Kibaki-led administration, fell out with the then head of state and dramatically resigned citing frustrations.
In the interview, Karua explains how she was rigged out of the Kirinyaga gubernatorial contest by the Jubilee administration.
She lost a legal attempt to unseat Governor Anne Waiguru and has vowed to take her case to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
The Narc Kenya party leader also claimed that the 2017 general elections were rigged in favour of the governing Jubilee party.
