Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago now says come 2032 he will vie for the country’s presidency.
He says he has what it takes to be the Country’s 6th president after deputy president William Ruto's term is over.
“For now, let us support deputy president William Ruto to ensure that he clinches the Country’s presidency and after he completes his two terms, I will ask votes from Kenyans to be the next president in 2032,” said Governor Mandago.
He says they will campaign for the deputy president to clinch the presidency thereafter he will support him in his bid come 2032.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret town on Wednesday Mandago said he is fit to be the Country’s president since his development record speaks for itself.
“Since I took over as the first Uasin Gishu Governor I have done a lot to my people and I would like to take it to the national level where Kenyans will feel my development record. My vision is to make Kenya a great nation,” said Uasin Gishu governor.
Mandago was elected on a Jubilee party ticket and he is serving his second term in office.
It is not yet known what he will be doing or the position he will be contesting after his term in office over comes 2022.
