Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei has said that President Uhuru Kenyatta has failed as far as development is concerned.
Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Thursday, Shollei said that Uhuru’s support for the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) is a clear indicator that he has failed.
She alluded that the head of the state sent a strong message to the nation after he admitted that he is fully behind the report.
“I think if I read the BBI report and compare it with the Jubilee manifesto basically he is saying “I have failed,” she said.
Shollei argued that there was no need for the BBI report, adding that it has been a waste of time as well as money.
The Uasin Gishu Woman Rep opined that President Kenyatta has powers to transform this nation, adding that he doesn’t need the report to do so.
“First of all we should not have had a BBI, we should not have had it and in fact, it has confirmed to me it was not necessary, “she added.
The legislator further noted that it only requires the goodwill of the President for Kenya to achieve the Big Four Agenda and not BBI. Uhuru has since asked Kenyans to read the report and make an informed decision.
