Gaining weight is one of those processes that you never keep tabs on until you wake up one day and realise you weigh a little bit more than before.
Here are subtle signs that you are/have put on some weight:
1. Your clothes don't fit anymore
Once you notice that you are squeezing yourself or feeling uncomfortable in the clothes you used to fit in, you need to lose weight.
2. Your joints hurt
Increased weight gain puts much pressure on your knees, the back and also on the hips making you uncomfortable to move or perform a certain task. Losing weight will solve this.
3. You find exercises challenging
Increased weight gain makes you fail to visit the gym or find exercising outdoors quite difficult. You can overcome any obstacle you are facing such as obesity or lack of flexibility by first doing simple exercises such as walking or chair exercises.
4. You snore
Snoring can sometimes be caused by excess weight gain. This is because your breathing will repeatedly stop at some intervals when you are asleep. If you are tired most of the times or have excess weight, you may snore.
5. You get winded when walking upstairs
When you realise that you are getting winded every time you are walking upstairs, it is a sign you need to lose weight. This is because weight gain decreases one's respiratory activity.
