Tanzanian musician Q Chilla has heaped praises on former Wasafi signee Rajab Abdul Kahali popularly known as Harmonize, terming him as the most popular artiste in Tanzania.
In an interview with Bongo 5 on Thursday, Q Chilla opined that Diamond had been the people's favourite but Harmonize was overtaking him with a big margin.
"I respect Diamond but it is evident Harmonize is overtaking him in fact he is the number one artiste in Tanzania," said Q Chilla.
He noted that despite his differences with Diamond Platinumz, Harmonize had chosen to keep mum about the issues.
"I have never heard Harmonize speak ill of Diamond. He has never responded positively or negatively to the issues concerning Diamond, this is because he respects him," he said.
Q Chilla further described Harmonize as a humble and focused musician who is always willing to give back to the community around him.
He, however, noted that he doesn't hold Harmonize in high regard just because he gifted him a car or because he revived his music career.
"The project which we did with Harmonize is more expensive than the car he gave me. We spent almost Sh50 million in the three songs we did together," he said.
The artiste said those prophesying doom for Harmonize after his exit from Wasafi record label should be ashamed of themselves.
"A child grows and moves out of the father's house to make a home for himself and that's what Harmonize is doing. Give him a break," he added.
