It is always an amazing feeling for most mothers on realizing they will be expecting a child in a few months. Even though the pregnancy journey could be filled with mixed feelings, the labour and delivery could be a nightmare, especially to first-time mothers.
The nurses who will be ready to attend to you and the baby will comfortably guide you on what is expected, but they are things they really wish you knew but they will not disclose them to you.
These are;
1. They are not concerned about how your body looks
Most women might think that nurses in charge of helping in delivery are concerned about their body appearance, this is generally not true. What nurses are concerned about is the safety of the mother and the baby.
2. Do not google everything
Nowadays technology has helped people to access information on different things. Once you are in the delivery room, you should not direct the nurses to do what you read on google, allow them to attend to you peacefully. This is because it might not work on your situation.
3. The delivery might not go as planned
Most parents track down their pregnancy progress and have different plans on the delivery. Some prefer to have natural births with no medication while others opt for caesarean section. It is worthy to note that things might sometime not go according to plans and thus you should be ready for what comes by.
