Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has landed into even more trouble, a day after he allegedly insulted Thirdway Alliance Leader Ekuru Aukot.
Reacting to a Standard headline suggesting that Aukot's Punguza Mizigo bill is on its way to defeat, Sifuna mocked the leader, suggesting that he has been fooling himself.
He quoted Achilles quote; "This is Hector, the fool who thought he killed Achilles," which was immediately criticized by Thirdway Alliance Secretary General Frederick Okango.
The remarks also appear to have irked Thirdway Chair Miruru Waweru who has lashed out at Sifuna, accusing him of insulting the former Presidential aspirant.
"Edwin Sifuna, calling Ekuru Aukot a fool will not make you intelligent, you are actually putting yourself on the chopping board by inviting tweeps to interrogate your miniature level of intelligence," he wrote.
However, in response, Sifuna hit back, mocking Waweru for failing to note that he was referring to the quote, which he found questionable.
"Aaaah chairman..welcome to the conversation. I was hoping atleast one of the three people who make up Third Way would get the reference... It was clearly too much to ask. SMH," he responded.
The two sides have not been in good terms since Aukot kicked off the referendum push which contradicts another one being pushed by the ODM party.
