The thugs, whose number remains unclear, were captured on camera breaking into the shops before robbing the attendants. In the video, three people, a woman, and two men sat helplessly as the thugs ransacked the shops.

The attendants are seen running away after the men unleashed their weapons of destruction during the incident.

The men are seen stealing money from the cash boxes and walking out of the shop.

On his Facebook page, the Nairobi governor asserted that the thugs would be brought to book.

"WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE!!! We are constantly urging the youth to surrender all their firearms to the police but seems there are those that are not getting the message. They think they must earn a living by terrorizing Nairobi residents. I wish to categorically state that thugs will not be condoned in Nairobi county," said the governor after sharing the video.
