Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communications Philip Etale has warned against any attempts to manipulate the Kibra mini poll results.
The party has since raised alarm over a possible plot to rig it out, claiming that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is playing games with the voter register.
But Etale, while adressing Statehouse Digital Director Dennis Itumbi on Tuesday said, that people planning to rig out ODM candidate Imran Okoth should not even dare.
He suggested Itumbi, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, is part of the team that has been rigging elections in the country, warning that they wont take ODM's win in Kibra.
"ODM will win. Your bad manners of election rigging will not suffice in Kibra. Mtaona cha mtema kuni (you shall face the music)," he wrote on Facebook, Tuesday night.
This was after Itumbi mocked the party for dispatching its lawyers to court to compel the poll body to release a full voter register, terming it a plot by ODM to reject poll results.
"ODM legal team led by SC James Orengo currently in court arguing IEBC gave a voter register without ID numbers. Classical ODM way of rejecting elections ahead of time," he said.
The Jubilee Party, where Ruto is the deputy leader, has fronted former soccer star McDonald Mariga.
