A Nyamira MP and close ally to Deputy President William Ruto has fired warning shots to critics accusing him of doing too little to improve the state of the roads in the constituency.
North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko told off the critics saying it is important for them to know the roads which fall under the jurisdiction of the national government and the county government.
"I would like to urge the great people of North Mugirango constituency not to listen to critics who lack knowledge and can not differentiate the roads that fall within the jurisdiction of the national government and the county government. The governor should be questioned for not performing in those roads that fall within the jurisdiction of the county government," said Nyamoko on Tuesday.
This comes after the lawmaker while addressing faithful at Magwagwa catholic church on Sunday reminded his critics that since 1963, he is the only MP who has done a tarmac road.
"I would like to inform my critics that I am the first-ever Member of Parliament since 1963 to do a tarmacked road within North Mugirango. I connected a tarmac road between Magwagwa - Nyamusi and I am currently working on Ekerenyo - Namba Misambi road which will also be tarmacked soon," Nyamoko said.
