This after his former principal recorded new statement against him.

The teacher Philip Lang'at's lawyer, Anthony Mukira, told a Nakuru court that his client receives constant threats from police officers who are demanding him to drop the case against his former Principal, Wilson Salpei.

“Police officers who aren't in uniform regularly come to harass and arrest me, a move that has made my life a living hell. I’m already out of employment following frivolous allegations made against me by the Mr Salpei,” reads part of Lang'at application quoted by Daily Nation Nation.

The teacher also said that he has not been spending time with his family for fear of his life as some unidentified men have been threatening him.

“The life of my client is in danger. It’s in the public domain that the principal is using the police to intimidate my client so as he consents to withdrawing criminal charges facing him and also continue tarnishing my client’s reputation,” Mukira told the court

Lan'gat was cleared off the accusations after a DNA test was carried out.

After the DNA test, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) recommended criminal charges against the school Principal, Board chairperson Jane Rono, the victim and her mother for their conspiracy to defeat justice.
