On Wednesday, she continued with her account on how they met and why she believes there was a married between the two of them despite Linturi denying the same.

Kitany insisted that she didn’t lure the embattled senator to on Wednesday to Naivasha at a time when he was supposed to present a motion to seeking to Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru. She affirmed that it was an idea of willing buyer and willing seller.

“I didn’t lure him to Sopa Lodge. I confirm that we went there on our own terms. Kindly permit me, if I may, to use the words willing buyer and willing seller,” she said, as quoted by Daily Nation.

She also said that there is no way one can use the knowledge from the books to define love because it is a feeling that cannot be explained.

She reiterated that she was legally married to the senator but later on things fell apart and now she wants to leave. Kitany had also requested to attend the funeral of the late senator’s father but the court declined to suspend the hearing of the case following the disagreement from the senators side.

She had also explained that they got married under the Meru Customary law with several relatives from her side as well as those from the senator's family present during the event. Kitany also accused Linturi of forging signatures and stealing properties belonging to her relatives.
