Controversial man of God Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Center has apologized after threatening to kill Citizen TV journalist, Linus Kaikai in March this year.
In a tweet, Mr Kaikai revealed that Pastor Ng'ang'a apologized over his remarks.
"I HAVE today forgiven Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism for the threats to the life he directed at me in March this year. Pastor Ng’ang’a apologized to me before Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi at the Kiambu Law Courts and I accepted the apology," said Mr Kaikai.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi at the Kiambu Law Courts, Pastor Ng'ang'a asked for forgiveness from Kaikai who accepted and forgave him.
"I have asked for forgiveness from Mr Kaikai. (Nimemuomba msamaha Mr Kaikai)," said Pastor Ng'ang'a.
In March, Kaikai hit out at pastors across the country for stealing from their innocent congregation.
“We are dealing with thieves not men of God. These are cold-blooded evangelical vampires living off the blood of their flock in the name of Jesus. They are conmen who must have their date with our police and our law courts," said Kaikai.
In his response, Pastor Ng'ang'a came out guns blazing to threaten Kaikai.
“I tell you young man, (Nakwambia tu kijana), am telling you like a chief general commander, you have to stop that. If you don’t stop I promise you, you will face the consequences,” warned Pastor Ng’ang’a.
His rare move to ask for forgiveness attracted reactions from Kenyan.
