KTN television show host Tony Gachoka has maintained his advice to Nairobi governor Mike Sonko to keep off the social media moments after he was granted Sh15 million cash bail.
Taking to Twitter, Gachoka noted that Sonko should exercise caution in whatever he does by trying as much as possible to avoid commenting on the ongoing case as he had advised earlier and as had been ordered by the court.
''I advised Mike Sonko to suspend or pull down his social media sites and avoid commenting on this case/matter completely; now it has so been ordered by the court! His supporters have also been warned, I would change approach and carry out this case with utmost sobriety,'' said Tony Gachoka.
The flashy legislator who has been in remand since Friday is was charged for among others for misappropriation of county funds running to millions.
The governor's detention had caused public unrest in the city with many of his supporters calling for his release.
The Anti-Corruption Court Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti, on Wednesday, barred Sonko from accessing his office in connection to the graft charges against him.
While delivering his ruling, Ogoti asked Sonko to avoid commenting anywhere about the case against him.
More so, Sonko was asked to make sure his supporters don't cause problems in the city as the case against him continues.
He was also told not to speak or communicate with any witness in the case.
