Nyamira Woman Representative Jerusha Momanyi will on Saturday hold a thanksgiving ceremony at her rural home in Gesima on Saturday.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday at her backyard, the Jubilee MP said the thanksgiving will help her reflect prayers and support from residents.
Mrs Momanyi asked residents to attend the ceremony in numbers, adding that it will be open to all who are free to join her.
"I will be having a thanksgiving on Saturday at my Gesima home. Those free can come and join us in thanking God. We shall first go to Nyakongo SDA Church before I retreat to my home in Riakumba where I am expecting hundreds of people to come," she said.
Mrs Momanyi said that her experience in the Silverstone plane crash was quite frightening, adding that she is still under medication.
"It is an experience I'll never forget. I thank God for saving me. I am still under medication but hopefully, in January, I will be okay," she said.
Momanyi was among those who were in the aircraft during the October accident at the Wilson Airport where it skidded off the runway.
She was rushed to Nairobi Hospital where she has been undergoing medication for almost two months. Momanyi is serving her first term in parliament.
