Three children and two women died in a road accident at Sobea in Rongai, Nakuru county on Friday night.

An unknown number of people were injured in the head on collision involving a matatu and lorry.

According to the star, the lorry was heading to Nakuru from Eldoret, while the matatu was going in the opposite direction.

Casualties were rushed to Nakiru Level Five Hospital, while the deceased were taken to Nakuru county government mortuary.

Police are trying to clear the area.
