Three people have been confirmed dead after a road accident that involved two motor-bikes and a lorry in Kangawa along Molo-Mau Summit road. The Sunday 10 pm accident ,according to Molo OCPD Job Leskinwa who spoke to journalists today the accident was as a result of overspeeding by the two motorbikes. "Those who witnessed the accident tell us that the motorbikes were coming from a funeral in Bomet and were headed to Njoro. They were over-speeding which made them crash", said Lesikinwa. Leskinwa adds that the motorbike riders were ran over by lorry that was behind them killing two on the spot while the other one died receiving treatment at Molo District Hospital. "They kept on trying to over take each other and that is where they lost control and fell down. To make the matter worse it was at night", added Lesikinwa. The OCPD is now warning the motor-bike riders against over-speeding while asking them to stick to traffic rules. "We could not have lost those lives if the young men were not over-speeding; we should not be losing lives like this", he said.
