Reports say that the violence began on Friday night after being started by a row over land boundaries and cattle rustling between the communities.

Confirming the incidence, Ikorongo area chief Francis Omidi said the government has already sent enough police to the area to quell the clashes.

The clashes also led to several people sustaining serious injuries.
