3 people have died after a minibus they were travelling in collided head on with a pick up truck along the Tawa - Mbumbuni Road in Makueni County.
According to the sources, the bus was heading towards Mbumbuni market while the truck was heading to Tawa Town.
Peter Njeru Mbooni East OCPD who confirmed the accident said that police have launched investigations to know the cause of the accident.
Eye witnesses told the Nation that the matatu driver was trying to overtake when it collided with the pick up.
The injured were rushed to Tawa Hospital for treatment.
