Three top NASA strategists are behind the planned swearing-in of Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka, reveals a source within the coalition.
Despite pressure to drop inauguration plans, Odinga has insisted that his decision to take oath remains solid and within the law.
"I am going to be sworn in. The date shall be communicate soonest and that is our stand," he said at the eve of New Year.
For NASA to drop the swearing-in, Odinga had said, Jubilee should get ready to engage them on electoral justice and strengthening of devolution.
But it has now emerged that lawyers James Orengo, Norman Magaya and strategist David Ndii are architects behind the January 30 swearing-in.
"They have explored options and found it valuable to swear them in as our leaders. All the events shall be done in accordance to the law," said the source who spoke in confidence.
While Orengo has lately been working behind scenes, both Magaya and Ndii have been openly pushing for swearing in.
After the inauguration, Magaya had said, NASA shall embark on a series of rallies across the country to push for reforms and subsequently form a parallel government.
