Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has pledged to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee government.
The Narc Party Leader who has been championing opposition's NASA coalition agenda, said she would work with Jubilee administration to ensure development in the Eastern Kenya county.
She revealed her Five-pillar Manifesto resembles President Kenyatta's Big Four Agenda which he intends to roll out across the country during his second-term, hence the need to partner.
"His is Big Four Agenda which is similar to my Five-pillar. His will address cases of food and water shortage which actually is what Kitui people are lacking and what I have been championing," said Ngilu.
Speaking during the 6th graduation ceremony of Kitui Teachers Training College on Friday, the former Lands Cabinet Secretary also cited youth and women empowerment, wealth creation, security and universal healthcare as some of the plans in her manifesto and that of Kenyatta's Big Four Agenda.
"I am going to work hand in hand with President Uhuru Kenyatta because his administration is spearheading a development agenda which is similar to mine," she said.
Ngilu further reiterated her administration's effort to empower the youth who graduate from various institutions in the County.
Taita Taveta County Governor Granton Samboja of Wiper Democratic Movement and ODM's Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok are some of the opposition county bosses who pledged to support Jubilee administration.
