Jubilee party has de-whipped three MPs from various parliamentary committees on claims that they are not willing to cooperate with party position in parliament.
In a letter written on Wednesday to House Speaker Justin Muturi, Majority Whip Benjamin Washiali demands the three to be relieved off their duties.
"The leadership of Jubilee party in parliament has given the member in reference adequate opportunity per Standing Orders and we are convinced he is not willing to cooperate with the party position," read the letter.
Coincedentally, all the three victims are close allies of Deputy President William Ruto, who has announced his bid for 2022 presidential elections.
Marakwet East MP David Bowen will no longer serve in Environment and Natural Resources with Emgwen's Alexander Kosgey expunged from Trade and Industry.
A similar fate befell outspoken Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter, who is on record for defying Jubilee party in a number of occasion.
