Nyagarama and Bosire have been having a strained relationship with the latter accusing the county boss of maladministration.

And on Wednesday in his Bogetutu backyard, Bosire challenged the Governor to pull down the billboards which have his images and instead replace them with commercials from major companies.

“It’s absurd that someone comes and puts his campaign pictures on billboards as if the action brings revenue to the county. The street lights were bought using taxpayers’ money and the Governor should not personalise them,” he said.

“It will be essential if he learns that we have big companies which can run commercials and in the long run pay revenue that can help the county government initiate other important projects. We always say that in good faith and the Governor got it wrong,” he added.

Earlier this month, Nyagarama had defended his action saying it was a ‘misdemeanor’ by the contractors when challenged by a section of disgruntled youths and promised to replace the photos on the billboards with commercials.
