National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has assured aspirants in Jubilee Party nominations of a free and fair party primaries scheduled next month.
Duale also adds that the party will only issue nominations certificates to candidates who will garner popular votes from grassroots to avoid losing majority representation in both parliament and county assemblies.
His sentiments comes when the Jubilee Party secretariat is in final stages of preparing an online registration of its members ahead of nominations.
"Jubilee Party is ready for a free and fair nomination. Those who believe in back-door exercises should be ready to look for other alternatives because that will not happen," he said.
He added: "Jubilee Party promotes democracy unlike our competitors. We are going to ensure everyone gets the right share. We are keen to control all legislative houses after elections."
Similar promises have been made by President uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto in previous occasions.
