Mosora village residents in Masige ward Bobasi constituency have been warned against breaking water pipes that were erected by the Kisii county to transport water to Ogembo town and its neighbouring areas.

Addressing them on Wednesday at Mosora during the development tour by the county officers led by Kisii county governor James Ongwae, the Kisii county commissioner Mwangi Chege cautioned residents against their behaviour of breaking water pipes which have been put in place to supply them with water.

“It is so shameful to find that some residents are hindering projects that have been initiated by the county government; let us join hands and stop such destructions,” said commissioner Chege.

He added that when such projects are initiated, they are not there to help individuals but to help the community.

Kisii county governor James Ongwae agreed with the commissioners sentiments by saying that residents should respect all projects that are meant to help them.
