Former North Mugirango MP Wilfred Ombui has appealed to residents to elect him in 2022 general election to complete projects he had initiated while he was on service from the year 2007 to 2013.
Speaking on Tuesday at a funds drive at Ikonge, Ombui claimed the projects he had initiated during his tenure have not been observed by the incumbent MP Joash Nyamoko, thus urged residents to elect him in 2022 so that he can complete them. Something that has been witnessed in most counties in the country.
"I want to ask my people of North Mugirango that they need to vote for me in 2022 general elections so that I can complete the projects for the benefit of residents. A number projects that I planned to accomplish in my second tenure have not yet been accomplished by the leaders who had happened to serve on that seat. It is a clear indication that I am the one who will go and do them," said Ombui.
He also said there is the need for North Mugirango residents to choose leaders with actions but not those who give false promises which they cannot fulfil. It is not clear how he intends to do that but he went on to plead for the residents' vote come 2022.
