It requires the input of everyone of us as we are all stakeholders of the nation. If we want to end corruption in the country the change should start with me and you, us.

We should realise that if there is corruption then we are part of it either as participants or witnesses to it. We are also corrupt and we can only fight it by first ensuring we are not individually corrupt.

We must step up and fight it from the individual front. When you collude with that tax collector so you can pay less with no receipts that is corruption.

You should pay only the gazetted fees and get a receipt upon the payment. When you don't ask for a receipt for the payment you're encouraging corruption as the money won't be accountable.

You should refuse to be part of any corruption deal whether it involves Sh20 or millions of shillings.

Corruption is corruption regardless of the amount involved. It's not corruption only when it involves someone in high government or a leader and a large sum of money.

You watch traffic police receiving bribes from drivers and you don't act, only to say they are corrupt. Yes, they are corrupt just as you are. Y

Our silence is taken as an affirmation of the vice hence making you corrupt too. Don't be an accomplice in corruption by letting it happen as you watch.

You should speak up against it whenever you see it happening. You will be surprised how others will join you in busting corruption cases.

It's such small acts that will go a long way in the fight against corruption in the country. Don't wait for the government to end corruption in the country.

You are the government and the change you want to see. Don't complain about what the government hasn't done, ask what can you do for the government.
