Four Nissan matatu drivers were on Tuesday morning arrested in Machakos town after having they were reportedly caught flouting traffic rules.
The four are alleged to have been picking and dropping passengers outside Machakos level four hospital which is not entitled stage.
They were arrested by Machakos inspectorate officers. According to one of the officers, the three have been ignorant even after being warned several times to avoid the unlawful act.
Residents were warned against alighting or boarding vehicles at undesignated areas as it is dangerous and can cause accidents.
The four were handed over to Machakos police station where they were detained as they await to be arraigned in court on Wednesday.
Their 14-Nissan matatus were also towed to Machakos police station.
