Nominated Senator Elizabeth Ongoro has said the person who will replace former ODM SG Ababu Namwamba should come from Western Kenya.

And to be specific, he/she should come from the former Western Province.

"That seat should be retained in Western and Busia county," she said.

She said she is not interested in the position as claimed.

Ongoro said Cord will win the 2017 general election and form government.
