This, he based on the DP's commitment to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, lauding him for showing a relentless desire to occupy the country's top seat.

He dismissed the other politicians who have declared interest in the seat, accusing them of engaging in frivolous political games which might make it hard for them to match Ruto.

"There seems to be only one person in Kenya today who shows relentless desire and unmatched zeal to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta as Kenya's next CEO. This person is DP William Ruto. The rest are engaged in frivolous political games dominated by insults, malice and paranoia," he said in a tweet on Tuesday.

Other politicians who have already declared interest in succeeding Uhuru include Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Mandeleo Chapchap counterpart Alfred Mutua.

Others are Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.

On the other hand, is Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga whose allies have hinted might take his fifth stab at the presidency. Raila has, however, remained silent regarding his 2022 plans.
