The governor for Nyamira county Hon John Obiero Nyagarama has encouraged the residents of his county to read and understand the BBI report journal before they are told of passing it.

Speaking on Thursday during Jamhuri day celebrations. The governor said that large number people have not yet understood what the BBI report entails and hence they need to calm down so that they read the report on their own and understand what it entails as far as it is concerned.

"I know that quite a number of us have not yet understood what the BBI report entails, we just have rumours that there is BBI existing in our country, I call upon you to go and sit down to go through the report and read it to understand so that in case of anything we know the direction to go. If it will be made to be passed then pass it as a whole. We don't want anybody to be left behind this kind of matters," said Hon Nyagarama.

The governor also pleaded for the youth to assist elderly people to understand the BBI report as it will not be framed to the local language they can understand faster for those who are illiterate because also their cooperation and support will be needed for the BBI to be passed.

"I also urge our young people, people, to aid the support of understanding to our elderly people who are illiterate to fully understand also the BBI report because they are also Kenyans and hence their material support will be of great impact on passing of the BBI," added the governor.
