ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale has taken a swipe at Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi over remarks that Raila Odinga visited Nigeria recently over Imran Okoth's Kibra bid.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Etale wanted to know when the alleged trip took place and the dates Raila travelled back to the country.
Etale took reservations with an article published the Star where Sudi claimed Raila follows ungodly ways.
"And why would the Star newspaper amplify a blatant lie. Anyway, I challenge this man with overgrown teeth to tell us when Raila left for Nigeria and when he came back," he said.
On Sunday, Sudi claimed Raila had visited Nigeria for devil worshipping ahead of Kibra by-election in which his party ODM was facing a challenge from Jubilee.
According to Sudi, Raila had sort assistance from witch doctors over the Kibra by-election that saw Imran clinch the seat after emphatic victory.
“Prior to the Kibra poll, Raila had flown to Nigeria, a lot of witchcraft dominates his head,” Sudi told a St Patrick’s Catholic Church fundraiser in Eldama-Ravine, Baringo county, on Sunday.
“This old man is a real devil and he must be defeated in Jesus name…how [many] people are supporting me, can you raise up your hand with me?” Sudi asked.
Sudi was among Jubilee MPs who were flushed from the constituency by armed goons. He accused Odinga of not subscribing to any religion.
“Raila doesn’t go to church, he doesn't fundraise in churches or mosques ...how then can he get God's blessings?" Sudi asked.
