Two schools in Kisii County that had their results cancelled last year have performed well in last years examinations that were released yesterday.
Kisii School and Nyakoiba high school scored a mean of 10.0 and 9.4 respectivelly. Kisii school had 34 straight A plains 138 A- with the last student scoring a C-.
Kisii School principal Casper Maina talked to us on the phone stating that sterling results were an achievement of discipline.
"We have come a long way, we have proved that Kisii School is a school of intergrity," said Maina.
"We achieved this through hard work and discipline," added Maina. said.
Other schools that performed well include, Nyamira based Nyambaria Boys that had a mean of 10.1, Sironga high school that had a mean of 9.4.
Little known schools likes of Nduru girls, Amasago high school found themselves among the best schools in Kisii after both registered a mean of 9.4.
Ichuni girls and Mobamba mixed high school also performed well after they registered a mean of 9.9 and 9.7 respectively.
