Bomet governor, Isaac Rutto has told majority leader, Aden Duale and El Geyo Marakwet senator, Kipchumba Murkomen to return the money stolen from the NYS.

This comes after the former CS of Devolution and Planning, Ann Waiguru mentioned them as suspects in the affidavit she sent to the EACC on Wednesday.

Rutto spoke on this issue during the swearing in of the Nyongores Ward MCA, Andrew Martimi, which took place on Wednesday at the Bomet County assembly grounds.

Duale has, however, refuted the claims and allegations made against him by the former CS that he had threatened former NYS acting senior Deputy Director General Adan Harakhe of a claim by Ben Gethi who is also a suspect in the scandal that payments amounting to over 800 million were for companies associated with CS Rotich who is believed to be DP Ruto’s point man.
