Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna says he has no apologies to make over controversial rape comments he made last year.

Speaking during an interview on a local television, Miguna refused to apologise, saying there was nothing wrong on what he said during an interview on Jeff Koinange Live talk show in November 2016. 

“There was absolutely nothing about sexual assault. I satirised a statement that was made against me,” Miguna said. 

Miguna shocked the show's viewers with lewd sexist comments directed at his rival Esther Passaris. 

“Ms Passaris is so beautiful that everyone wants to rape her,” he said at the much-hyped show last year.
