Ondari said that in the past days there have been issues about delayed payments for the youths and also the emergence of inaccurate records hence she advised the directors to make sure that the records of payment are put in order and made in time.

“We need payments to be done in time so that this youth can not have challenges of money since they are working, all records should be put in order to avoid inconveniences,” said Ondari.

Ondari who was speaking on Tuesday at Birongo primary in Nyaribari Chache constituency during the launching of the NYS empowerment project, she said that the program will be successful in the area if the youths are well paid so that they can be motivated in their daily work.

The NYS director Zephaniah Makokha assured the cohorts that the records are going to be put in order and they will receive their money in time.

“You are going to receive your money without delays but once there will be a delay we will communicate since sometimes the system can have a problem but I promise that your records are going to be straight since we have  competent officers who are in charge of the program,” said Makokha.
