Nairobi county gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has said that Nairobi senator Mike Sonko is not fit to vie for the Nairobi governor's seat in the 2017 general elections because Sonko is allegedly a drug trafficker.

Speaking during a radio interview at Radio Jambo on Tuesday morning, Miguna said that if Sonko will win governor's seat in 2017 then illegal businesses such as selling of drugs will flourish.

"Nairobians should vote out people like Sonko who has been doing illegal drug trafficking business. Most of Nairobi youths have ventured to abuse drugs to due lack of jobs and guidance programs from the leaders such as Sonko," he said.

He argued that with a Sonko governorship, society will be headed for destruction because youths would be deeply engaged in the sale and consumption of the drugs.
